September’s Free From and Coeliac Community we did something completely different!

At this coffee morning we all caught up with each other whilst Cooking the seasonal recipe apple Chutney chosen for those of us who have a glut of apples & to demonstrate the simplicity of the traditional art of preserving.

All of our community prepared the ingredients, stirred the pan to get a feel of the various cooking stages of the chutney and most importantly enjoyed a taste testing with or without cheese depending upon their allergen & polenta bread.

This was a very buoyant group with lots of laughter rounded off very nicely by all of us taking a pot of our extra special ‘made with friends’ apple chutney.
